Single Malt - Scotland - 43.00% 9 Delicious example of maltiness in a whisky. I always enjoy Glengoynes very much, but they invariably leave me wanting a little more.

Single Malt - Scotland - 48.00% 8 A lovely dram, more spring-time than autumnal. To enjoy with shellfish.

Single Malt - Scotland - 43.00% 8 The earlier, and less expensive, of two millennium bottlings. In this one, the emphasis is on first-fill bourbon barrels.

Single Malt - Scotland - 45.00% 8 This is a substantially richer style of Glenmorangie, but not overwhelmingly sweet. The balancing spices and herbs are all present and correct.

Single Malt - Scotland - 44.30% 8 Sherry wood is undoubtedly invasive but yet, here's a complex one. To be softened by chocolate pralines or almond biscuits.

Single Malt - Scotland - 43.00% 8 Reminiscent of the port finish but slightly gutsier and less sophisticated. I would love to try it, tapas-style, with Manchego, or perhaps Grazelema, cheese.
