The Tweeddale The Last Centennial
Blended Malt - Scotland - 52.20% 8 That's how to use peated malt in a blend! Superb progression.
The Whisky Exchange Bowmore 18 Years Old 1993 The Whisky Exchange Masterpieces
Single Malt - Scotland - 61.60% 8 That whisky needs a dash of water to cut the edges. Clean, big with that wonderful exotic fruit character that some Bowmore proudly display.
The Whisky Exchange Glenfiddich 1974 50th Anniversary of the Queen's Coronation
Single Malt - Scotland - 48.90% 8 Despite the rich descriptors, I found this slightly sharp with some vintage Glenfiddichs.
The Whisky Exchange Highland Park 36 Years Old, Cask 10252
Single Malt - Scotland - 49.70% 8 Enough tannic bite to suggest considerable age, but a remarkably youthful freshness.
The Whisky Exchange Isle of Jura 1999, 5 Years Old

Single Malt - Scotland - 40.00% 8 A pretty entertaining dram. I certainly wasn't expecting that finish!
Tullamore D.E.W. Trilogy
Pot Still - Republic of Ireland - 40.00% 8 Pleasant, soft and subtle. However I think it might have benefited from being bottled at 46% ABV, which would have given the palate a little more intensity.
Tullibardine 1993, Port Wood Finish
Single Malt - Scotland - 46.00% 6 Somewhere in the mid palate, there was a momentary hint of malt whisky. I don't know how that found its way into this obscure liqueur from Heaven.
Tullibardine 1993, Sauterne Wood Finish
Single Malt - Scotland - 46.00% 8 There's lots of elements at play here. They're just not playing together.
Two Bobs Kentucky Bourbon 1994 Cask No. 66

Tyrconnell Madeira Finish 10 Years Old
Single Malt - Ireland - 46.00% 8 Well put together, the finish not too obtrusive.
Vintage Malt Whisky Co. Classic of Islay Cask Strength Single Islay Malt
Single Malt - Scotland - 60.20% 8 Powerful, pungent malt with everything an Islay enthusiast would wish for.
Bourbon - U.S.A. - 60.95% 8 Remarkably drinkable at full strength, which is just as well as I didn't enjoy it as much once diluted. Impressive: but you must like 'em woody.
W.L. Weller 12 Years Old
Bourbon - U.S.A. - 45.00% 7 Plenty of dimension. The acidity makes it especially appetising and drinkable, and potentially an accompaniment to food. Bring on the barbecue.
