Single Malt - Scotland - 56.80% 7 Slightly gin-like. I have preferred bottlings that had more contribution from the wood. A touch of vanilla would round out the flavours.

Single Malt - Scotland - 61.20% 7 Extraordinarily red colour. The sweetness is almost overwhelming. The ultimate dessert whisky.

Blackadder Blairfindy 1980 Raw Cask
Single Malt - Scotland - 57.60% 7 Those flavours in mid-palate afford a glimpse of a delicious malt but the wood is very dominating.

Blackadder Bowmore 1989
Single Malt - Scotland - 63.30% 7 All the elements of Bowmore, and plenty of alcohol, but extra dimension.

Blackadder Caol Ila 1990
Single Malt - Scotland - 58.50% 8 Light in the middle, and delicate throughout, but lovely Islay flavours.

Single Malt - Scotland - 59.40% 6 Nose better than palate. A tired cask?

Blackadder Longmorn 1973
Single Malt - Scotland - 56.90% 7 This mahogany dram looks like a winter warmer, and that is how I would use it.

Single Malt - Scotland - 60.50% 8 Enjoyable, with an appropriate touch of earthy rawness, but not as statuesque as this elegant whisky can be.
