  A lovely whisky for one so young. What will it be like at two or three times this age?

  Oddly distinctive. Curiously sweet and savoury.
• Isle of Arran Calvados Finish
  Was the Calvados cask notably generous, or is Scotch whisky particularly receptive to the Norman spirit?
• Isle of Arran First 1995, Limited Edition
  The early releases were promising, and this one has matured well.
• Isle of Arran Gold Malt Whisky Cream Liqueur
  
• Isle of Arran Marsala Finish
  Not much connection between nose and palate. But the surprise is pleasant. A beautiful wake-up malt on rainy days.
• Isle of Arran Non Chill Filtered
  More a summery malt than a warmer-up. Pleasant but not captivating. Mid-palate is a bit weak.
• Isle of Arran Port Cask
  Sinful. Bonus points for shamelessness.
• Isle of Arran Rum Cask
  Rather cloying.
• Isle of Arran Single Malt Non Chill Filtered
  A curious inversion. As though the whisky (rich and sweet, but without penetrating flavours) provides the background, while the sherry and wood are the highlights.
• Isle of Arran The Arran Malt
  A subtle yet characterful malt. Sweetness is teased up by dry spices. Beautiful structure. The proof that you can be young and accomplished.
• The Arran Malt Cognac finish
  I have observed few happy marriages between whisky and Cognac. Perhaps the rivalry is just too obvious.
