Scapa 1985, 16 Years Old
Single Malt - Scotland - 43.00% 7 Rich and generous. Again, overwhelming distillery character.
Dun Bheagan Scapa 13 Years Old
Single Malt - Scotland - 43.00% 6 A very light, clean expression. Scapa deserves to be in regular production.
Gordon & MacPhail Scapa 1987
Single Malt - Scotland - 43.00% 7 A complex, delicate, well-balanced vintage.
Gordon & MacPhail Scapa 1988
Single Malt - Scotland - 43.00% 6 I am not sure about that sulphur. Is it from the cask, or is it seaweedy? I usually like seaweed, but am not convinced by this bottling.
Old Malt Cask Scapa 13 Years Old
Single Malt - Scotland - 50.00% 7 Light and discreet. Perfectly pleasant but not exactly exciting.
Scapa 12 Years Old
Single Malt - Scotland - 43.00% 8 Scapa can seem a delicate whisky, but it is full of flavours, and deserves its growing following.
Scapa 14 Years Old
Single Malt - Scotland - 40.00% 8 Good integration of wood and malt. A very decent dram.
Scapa 16 Years Old
Single Malt - Scotland - 40.00% 7 A little bit of a let-down after a superlative nose.
