Just arrived on the doormat.

A rather worrying article about Roseisle by Dave Broom is the first thing I read...

Got mine too Nick. Dave had been round whilst we were out this morning. Looking forward to this one as I'd finished issue 78 a couple of weeks ago.

I've just had a phone call from my brother. He said "Les your famous you've made it into the Whisky Mag" I replied "where what page." " The bottom of page 11" he said. "Where" I said. "That's you in the green shirt isn't it." I wore a white shirt that day. Not me I'm afraid. It's funny when your own brother gets you mixed up.

I received my magazine today, still few weeks after the UK subscribers. I look forward to reading it tonight.

Well done Pete and we haven't got issue 80 yet. It must be out in the next two weeks.

Kudos to the WM crew for properly referencing the awards comments for the Sazerac award for best American whisky on p.19. I believe that it shows editorial responsibility when the reader knows the context in which they are reading anything published in the magazine. It also shows that the magazine is attuned to the sentiment of its readership!
