Pete you've no chance. You could try moving to the UK though. The winters are milder only minus 10.

My ancestor emigrated to Canada to escape the damp winters. Not even receiving whisky magazine earlier could entice me back. I like -40 below, it's cold but very dry and you can dress for it accordingly.
