If you want a list of bars where Macallan is served, this booklet might be helpful. I would not look to this book, however, to find out which are the great whisky bars of the world. It seems to have been very poorly researched, if at all.

For example, the section for Los Angeles, CA is laughable. None of the bars listed have a great selection of whisky. Many of them have a below average selection of whisky. Some are plain absurd, like El Carmen. It's a dive Mexican restaurant!!! I've been there many times, they have great cheap Mexican food, a large range of tequila, but hardly any whisky at all!! And the two bars serving 200+ bottles of whisky, 7 Grand and The Daily Pint, are totally missing from list.

Very disappointing.

Demi-Johns in Edinburgh is not a bar or a restaurant, cafe, Bistro, hotel, it does not have a licence to serve alcohol. This booklet is exactly what we are against.

Baranows Whisky and Cigar Lounge in Hawthorn, Victoria, Australia - voted best whisky bar in Austalia. Heaps, and heaps of whiskies to try, some very hard to come by.
