It's probably waiting for me at home. Don't think I will be able to resist buying one on the newsstand here. I love it so much I buy it twice! I'll just pass along the extra issue to an interested party.

Have issue 50 hit the newsstand yet in the US? It's actually cheaper for me to buy it there than to subscribe.

It hasn't reached my regular newsagents in Vancouver, B.C. yet... and as their deliveries are weekly (Tuesdays) it won't be here any sooner than early October now... :cry:

Got mine today, and it included a free first edition of the beers of the world magazine. This was nice, although I subscribe to the beers of the world magazine anyway...

I called the closest Borders (a few miles from my office) and they confirmed they carry Whisky Magazine. Drove over this afternoon and found.....issue 49.

I bought it and driving back to my office reflected on the memory of a cartoon my father had on the wall of his study. The caption read, "God, grant me patience, but I want it NOW!!!"

I bought issue nr.50 in the news-kiosk today. Must say it looks good but haven't really had the time to sit down and read. Looking forward to the peat article as it has been thoroughly discussed on this forum.
