North America subscriptions

Can I hear a status update from the North America (especially northeast US) subscribers? I'm still waiting for issue #65. Is that par for the course?

North America is always 6-8 weeks behind the UK and Europe subscribers. You can check your subscription status by following the links on this page http://www.whiskymag.com/subscribe/

I have received my #66 issue but I have not receive the 67.

It seems to me that 6-8 weeks is way too long for a magazine to travel from UK to USA. After all, you can sent the entire magazine package in a plane bound for US and it should not take more than a day.

What is the reasoning behind this tardiness?

We know that the articles are timeless but still would appreciate a little bit of English promptness?

Here is an update, since I know a lot of you have likely been losing sleep wondering where my magazines are.

I had sent in my renewal at about the time that the North America subscriptions were being transferred to the US, and it appears to have been lost in the shuffle. These things will happen. However, with the aid of an extremely helpful woman named Mary in customer service all has been squared away. Within days I was sent issues 65, 66 and 67 to get me caught up. I now have some serious reading to do.

jobi, what're you going to do with the magazines when you finish them?

I'm planning to hold onto my old editions - keep them in a collection. I have a duplicate of an older issue (#57 I think) I could send you if you're looking for a sample.
