Lucky no bills today, whew! But no issue #72, but I'm sure it will be some weeks. You over there always get it quickly, takes a bit longer over here but that's okay as I just got into issue #71.

I'll expect mine to arrive in around 6 weeks. That should be around July 21. Ours have a different date on them so we don't feel so "out of date" when they arrive.

Hi All,
Here goes with my first post :thumbsup:

I've been buying the Mag. for over 2-3 yrs now but subscribed to it at the beginning of this year, (about time too).
Being a Havana Lover :smoke:

I always love the articles relating to the pairing of Cigars with Alcohol, and this one is as always very interesting, obviously a very subjetive thing, but for what it's worth, my Whisky to pair with a Monte Edmundo would be a Old Pulteney, the Oily/Saltyness of the Pulteney would bring out the Creamy/Sweetness of the Edmundo... Yum
Any other Cigar Lovers out there.

No there should be no differentiation and I too enjoy a Cuban from time to time. Cigar smoke is actually worse for the passive smoker than cigarette smoke.

Cigar Clubs & Cigar shops with smoking lounges have been hit by this and maybe that is where this is coming from but at the end of the day it should be a 100% blanket ban. If you make an exception for one others will look for it too.

Wow, things have really improved .... I have received mine 12 days after you guys in the UK usually it is well over a month ..... whats better is that it is only 8 working days in th difference. I am impressed :thumbsup:

With the strict import policy for alcohol to Norway, the customs probably saw the whisky image on it and are further investigating the matter right now.

Ha ha Klas, good one! Sounds about right!! They're probably a bit confused wondering how they fit whisky in such an odd vessel! Hopefully they'll figure it out after further testing and drop it off. That must be why it takes a bit extra time to get here!

Issue 72 arrived today, a full 10 days before I expected it! ...and yes, the cover date is "August 2008" so it appears it arrived early!

I have to save it 'though so I have something to read in the early morning while we're camping, (...and I'm sipping Cointreau laced coffee.)
