I recently had the 1985. It is so much better than the Select Reserve, 1991 and 1987. I'd much prefer to put a little more money into the 1985 than get the younger ones at a lower price. The most enjoyable for the price that I've drammed is the 1979-16/17 yo. This is the one that got me into this distillery.

First off I just wanted to let people know about it(since until about two days ago I didn't even know that they did scotch tastings) :smoke: and secondly I wanted to know what people think of these four.

Hey Sean.... have fun... and enjoy the 1975... it is a wonderful dram.. I have had the SR,91,87 in the sample (100ml) pack (a couple of times), and they are all good with the '87 being the best of that group. Longer finish more balance. I don't seem to remember the '85 off hand... so I will have to check my notes for that one (maybe at a show). The '75, '79, '73's are really top of class beverages... A treat to have on any occation...

Cheers,
