Abhain Dearg Distillery the first legal distillery from the Outer Hebrides, in almost 170 years will be producing New Spirit in the very near future.
Yesterday the World got a little closer to Abhain Dearg (pron: Ab-hin Jerrack or Red River Distillery in English) when their website http://www.abhaindearg.co.uk went live.
Watch the site closely for release dates for what will be 'A taste of history'!
Congratulations to Marco - aka Mark Tayburn! Without the superhuman effort Marko put into making this distillery a reality 'Lewis' might have waited another couple of hundred years for a distillery to call its own.
