Whyte and Mackay's Master Blender Richard Paterson is going to be buying drams for followers of his blog http://www.themasterblender.com/ in New York tonight, Monday.

He'll be at Keens, 72 W 36th Street from 7:30pm onwards if anyone cares to join him for a dram - on him! Remember just don't ask for ice.

Amen to that...I was at a tasting he did for some bartenders today...he made the point about ice quite violently...and almost wiped out someone's laptop when he threw a glass of whisky and ice across the room!
