Edinburgh August Whisky Tastings

Our new venue WHISKI Rooms overlooking the Mound will be hosting daily whisky tastings during August in our dedicated tasting room within our whisky shop. Mon 1st August 2011 @ 5pm - Burn Stewart Distillers
Des Hughes will be sitting down with us here at the whiski rooms to take us through the different whiskies that make up Burn Stewart's unique portfolio.

Join us with brand ambassador Jamie Milne as we work our way through the Glenfiddich range of whiskies.

Come along and create your own blended whisky with Des Hughes from Burn Stewart distillers. Take a little bottle home with you too to impress your friends with!

Wed 10th August @ 5pm- Bowmore "Taste of Islay"
We will taste our way through the Bowmore range - whiskies to be finalised ...


Thur 11th August @ 5pm- Benromach distillery
Ian Fenton take us through a range of whiskies from one of Scotland's last independently owned distilleries.

Fri 12th August @ 5pm - Inverhouse distillers
Marie Sinclair take us on a journey through the whiskies created at the Balblair distillery.

Sat 13th August @ 5pm - Inverhouse Distillers
The Knochdhu distillery in the highlands produces the AnCnoc single malt. Marie Sinclair guides us through the many different expressions produced here.

Mon 15th August @5pm - Glengoyne Distillery
Just over the Highland line lies Glengoyne distillery. Alan Wardrop take us through the range and explains how their slow distillation process and air dried barley mark Glengoyne as a unique Scottish distillery.

Situated in the town of Wick in the north of Scotland is the Old Pulteney distillery. Marie Sinclair take us through a range of whiskies from this maritime malt.
