Festival fatigue, no tastings for 6 weeks!! Our chums at The Windsor Buffet are suffering from scaffolding and the Tollbooth is packed every night with 'incomers'. the bills need paying, hey presto an emergency tasting, all hands on deck, an APB out for Tuesday night drammers, £17 (probably) 5 drams (at least) 7.30 (for sure) details of drams to be confirmed- there is a bunch of peaty blends needing drunk and some anonymous 40% peat stuff all topped off with a treat or maybe a POURS - any requests?

The tasting is almost finalised, a Springbank Society single sherry cask, cask strength 11yo Local Barley, A Gordon and MacPhail 1976 Benrinnes, Cadenheads 22yo Balmenach, a Texan whisky then something peaty.

So this might come as a bit of a shock but there is another whisky tasting, 12 Danish loons are coming over and wanted to try something from each of Cadenheads' ranges while also covering the different regions and styles. the drams are their choice and they are happy to make the tasting an open affair if anybody wants to join in.

Note it is on a Friday for a change but the same time and venue. Also there are two tickets left for Thursday's Bladnoch tasting.
