hey guys,

well, another success eh? Sorry i missed you all at the dregs, sounds like i missed a good night!!

I went home after the last tasting for a wee snooze to "freshen up" for the dregs and i woke up at 10.30pm!! Decided not to bother going back up to dufftown, couldn't stomach everyone else being drunk while i was sober!!! :evil:

See you all in Spring, if not before! 2 talks in spring. Douglas Laing (of course) and because it seems to be a theme in my tastings.... Breakfast Whiskies!!!

Fiona told us to grab a bottle and chucked everyone out about 9.

As for being drunk, I'm sure you could have caught up. :wink:

Have you recovered from your injuries, Susan? It took me about 4 days to get over mine.

p.s. I obliterated my bottle of Provenance Mortlach 1992 in 3 sessions so that's not bad. Very moreish indeed.

The choice of words is misleading. I'm stark raving mad when I've been drinking Irn Bru. Alcohol doesn't make a blind bit of difference. :lol:

That evening was the 'BIG SHOWDOWN' of whisky knowledge - the highly competitive Whisky Game. Two Norwegian teams where pitted against Scotland and England. And without the guidance of their previous team leader David Stirk, the English won a clear victory with Scotland in second place and Norway trailing in the last two places

Shouldn't that be hinderance not guidance ? :twisted:
