The usual format Thursday, 7.30, Kilderkin - a French buddy asked me to host a tasting for him and his mates and he is happy to have all-comers join in. His remit was "5 good drams, all cask strength and no red wine finishes". So far I'm thinking about:-
Allt-a-Bhainne 21yo Bourbon hogshead cask strength Cadenheads
Ardmore 16yo Bourbon Hogshead cask strength Cadenheads
Glendronach Cask strength Batch 3
Bruichladdich 21yo Bourbon hogshead Cask Strength Cadenheads or Glen Grant 24yo Bourbon hogsheads cask strength Cadenheads
Although it is tempting to re-pour the Tomatin 35yo......
A Springbank at cask strength possibly an old bottling of the 10yo 100 proof or a Port cask Wood Expression bottled for Europe and not the UK
£20 for first timers or members otherwise £23 for returning non members.
P.S. still some tickets left for tomorrow night's tasting: the 10th Anniversary of the Springbnak Society, see earlier post.
