Is anyone aware of any Tasting Events or Tasting Clubs in Southern California? These seem to be more prevalent in the Eastern US, but I haven't found anything in So Cal.
I know that The Scotch Malt Whisky Society will be coming to Los Angeles on November 9, 2006. I'm sure that members of this forum have attended one of these functions in the past. Is this a worthwhile event for the price?
