Hey Bruce. Man, I posted my thread a few minutes after years. I checked to see if anyone started a thread about it, but I guess I missed yours.

So what events are you going on?

I'm on the Benriach/Longmorn tour, the Douglas Laing tasting, the whisky and cheese talk, the supermarket sweep talk, the Tannochbrae restaurant, the woodlands walk on Sunday morning, the Adelphi tasting, the Glenfarclas/Glenallachie tour and the DTC talk before going to the dregs party.

Hey,

I'll be going to the call my bluff, the whisky and salmon and will be doing the DLaing tasting.

Unfortunately the festival clashes with the National Ladies Shinty cup Final, which i'm playing in, in Newtonmore, so won't be there on sat.

Sunday i'm going to the Adelphi tasting and the beer party, then heading back to Glasgow on Monday so will miss the dregs (again!) Because i'm off to Sweden on the Wed for the Stockholm beer and Whisky Festival!!

Be sure to get that 1993Provenance Blair Atol in your talk. It will be a sure-fire hit.

Who was all there, what events did you go to and what did you bring back?

The 1994 Blair Athol was excellent. Can't remember if it was as good as the 1993 but it was very close.

Hey Bruce.

I was there allright, mostly did distellery tours, with N&T's and masterclasses at some of them. Visited Tamdhu, Glenfiddich, Macallan, Glenfarclas, Glenallachie, Cragganmore, Cardhu, Tomintoul, Aberlour, Glen Grant. I think that was all of them.

Brought a few back, biggest highlight: Aberlour 14 years old Single Sherry Cask, 58%abv. If you love the A'Bunadh, this will blow your mind.

Another fantastic dram was a Glenfarclas 1994 single sherry cask, cask 2996. We went to buy two bottles, but they only had one left. If we can't find any through some german retailers (it was bottled for Germany), we'll probably split the bottle.

Yeah, I'm dutch. Ringbeard, darkbrown hair. Were you on the monday morning tour at Glenfarclas?? We visited Glenallachie before Glenfarclas that day.

hahaha, yeah, Hans had one of his drams, the 15 year old. I didn't drink any of his.

What did you think of the Glenallachie, both the distillery and the whisky?? I thought it was a very nice tour, very well done. The whisky itself was fantastic. Can't remember for the life of me what you look like though.

Glenallachie was great. The whisky and the tour were superb.

My mate grabbed a bottle of Provenance Glenallachie from the Dufftown shop.

I'm about 6 feet tall with a shaved head.

Hey Bruce, just had a quick peek, will read it fully later on. Looks like a good report.

One question, I believe that's me in the picture at Glenallachie. Could you perhaps send me that picture in a larger format? If you happen to have more pictures where I, or my travel companion would be on, I'd love to have those too. You can PM me for my mailadres. I'd really appreciate it.
