New Jersey charity tasting on April 21

OK...if you're in the Philadelphia area, please pay attention!

There will be a charity Scotch tasting on Saturday, April 21 to benefit the American Cancer Society Relay for Life at Dadz Bar in Lumberton, NJ. Burn Stewart master distiller Ian MacMillan will be the guest expert, and the whiskies to be poured come from the Burn Stewart range: Deanston 12 & 30, Bunnahabhain 12, 18, and 25, Tobermory 10, Ledaig 10, and Black Bottle 10 (blend).

Tickets are $75, with $25 going to the ACS. Door Prizes include 2 tickets to WhiskyFest New York in October, a membership (with bottle) in the SMWS US chapter, and other goodies. Contact Canal's in Burlington at 609-387-1541 for tickets and other details.

This is very tempting, but it might be tough for me. First, I might not be in town that weekend. But even if I'm around, it's tough for me to get over there (and back).

Definitely can't make it on Saturday. Tough to pass, but this is a bad weekend.
