7.30pm until 10pm at The Tolbooth Tavern, 167 Canongate, Royal Mile, Edinburgh

1983-2001 18yo 55.5%
1983-2006 22yo 46% single sherry butt
1982 -11/2005 55.7% Bourbon cask 240 bottles
1982-2006 40%
1978-2006 27yo 54.8% sherry cask 396 bottles

mark from cadenheads in the royal mile is a great wee bloke, very knowladgeable and ive a lot of time for him. he usually has a wee dog in his shop and its a fistey wee bugger.

never heard from Cadenheads that they released Port Ellen 2006. That would be really a surprise.

The tastings organised by Mark are an independent venture and hence the whiskies tasted are from a range of bottlers.
The Port Ellen whiskies to be tasted on 12th July are;

Scott's Selection 1983-2001 18yo 55.5%

McGibbon's 1983-2006 22yo 46% single sherry butt

M & H cask selection 1982 -11/2005 55.7% Bourbon cask 240 bottles

Gordon and MacPhail 1982-2006 40%

Douglas Laing 1978-2006 27yo 54.8% sherry cask 396 bottles
