7 pm : Whisky Tasting (and there'll be a FestNoz on saturday as well ;p )

Wish I could catch that. "Fest Noz" is a Breton term, and I see the entertainment that evening will be two Montreal bands playing Breton music (and a local band playing Scottish music during the tasting). Love Breton music...too bad Archambault doesn't really carry any anymore. I used to get a lot of good stuff there.

I got the whisky tasting list and well, not very fascinating .. but cheap $20.

Single malt Irish (Redbreast),
Lowland (Auchentoshan),
Highland (Longmorn),
Speyside (Glenmornangie Port Wood Finish)
Islay (Ardbeg)

As everything comes from SAQ, I guess we're not talking ardbeg Mor or the Beast

but rather the 10 which is VERY present actually...

You can get a very good selection in the Thomas Dunn Pub, on Rue St-Paul, across from the train station. Say hi to Line for me. There's also a big SAQ very close to there.
