I will be there. I will be in the City for another event at the time, so I am taking the opportunity to make my first Fest visit. Looking forward to it.
I just noticed that ticket sales are sold out. I hope you guys already purchased your tickets. This will also be my first time at WF-NY. Have been told this is a great event.

Thanks for the heads up on that. I guess it doesn't really matter when I go then
Yes, I have my ticket (VIP, get in early ). This is the first time I have been to any function of this type (Whisky Fest, Whisky Live, etc.). This should be a great event!
The wife & I have VIP tix too. We usually arrive earlier in the day and stop off at St.Andrews on w 44th for a bite to eat & a few drinks then check in early before the lines grow. Have done this with Whisky Live in the past. Much more enjoyable!
I noticed earlier that St Andrews Restaurant was one of the sponsors (on the whisky list) and checked out their web site. In addition to their great menu, it appears they also have a great whisky bar. I will definitely be checking it out. Now if I can just figure out a way to reasonably visit LeNell's over in the Brooklyn Red Hook area.
St.Andrews' whisky bar is indeed excellent. The food is excellent too. You might want to visit Park Ave. Liquor Shop since they are in Manhattan, at 292 Madison Ave. Jon & Marlon are great guys and have a HUGE selection of whiskies. I just purchased some hard to find single malts there last week. You should stop in and check them out.
