3/3 @ Nihon - I called and they had no idea what I was talking about

I've called Nihon twice and no one I've spoken to knows anything about this, I am guessing this event is not happening on Monday

Since TBS has not been making changes to the schedule, I asked about all the LA listings. We shall see what comes of this.

Wow, that was fast. Here's the answer for the LA area:

"We have a tasting through Wally's this Saturday, being held at the Sports Club LA. I believe that it starts at 6pm but suggest calling Wally's for more information.

We'll then have a week of tasting April 14th-19th throughout S. Cal. Vendome Toluca Lake will be Thursday the 17th. They usually have it at Clancy's in Glendale, but again, check with Vendome.

Wades in Westlake Village will be that Monday night, April 14th. Call William at Wades for time & location details."

I was able to confirm today that the event at Nihon is not happening tonight. I am trying to make Friday's event at Bliss Bar if anyone wants to meet up.

I called Bliss Bar today to find out any additional information. It is just what it is. It is put on by Plumpjacks. It is walk-in taisting from 5pm-7pm for $10. Sounds good to me. I am planning on going with my SO. Bad part is that I have a 5pm meeting before I can go. I hope that there is late drop-ins allowed. Wish I could get down there sooner.

I stopped by Vendome whiskies today. They indicate that the tasting is scheduled for Thursday April 17th. They will be sending me an email on the event. I will post details when this arrives. Anyone from the LA area interested?
