Have I Got Whisky News for You? - Have they got Boris to do it, or is he to busy being Lord Mayor?

The possibility to get a decent curry in Dufftown seems to good to miss.

Been to Dufftown several times, but only once during a festival (tend not to plan too long a head I'm afraid) and that was just for a couple of days at the spring one.

Must try to get to the Autumn one this year - need to check in with my employer first I guess...

Was frankly quite surprised to find out they've been at it for almost ten years already.

Autumn Speyside Whisky Festival 2008

Glenrothes & Macallan Distilleries Bus Tour ~ A chance to visit two great distilleries.

Glenrothes is an amazing distillery to visit - anyone who hasn't been should jump at the chance to see this reclusive operation. They have a site that has been added to and added to - so lots of passageways and staircases. But the highlight is the stillroom - a cathedral of whisky.

Hope you all enjoyed it. Grateful for any feedback.

May 2009 is now almost fully planned (at least the masterclasses are). The main spirit of speyside festival events such as the opening meal will go on sale in the next few weeks. The rest are due to go live in December. There will be over 30 Dufftown events including masterclasses from the usual Independents (Adelphi, Douglas Laing, Duncan Taylor, AD Rattray and Cooper's Choice) and we will also have tastings from Glen Rothes, Edrington, and Diageo.

Fascinating.

Is there any chance of an e-mail saying when they will be available or will the site say when booking starts?
