Busy month hence my raft of postings, apologies.
Thought if anyone was around in the Lancashire area you might be interested in the following...

The Balvenie - A Speyside Icon
Wednesday 15th October
The Sun Hotel, Lancaster 7.30pm
£15 per ticket

In a slight departure from our usual format, we have secured the services over the coming months of new UK Balvenie Brand Ambassador, Andy Forrester. Andy is a good guy, with just the right balance of knowledge, passion and humour. He will be presenting a tasting of the following whiskies.

12 Y.O Signature
12 Y.O Doublewood
15 Y.O Single Barrel
17 Y.O Rum Cask
21 Y.O Port Finish

However this is not just a brand showcase as we will be assessing and scoring the whiskies as we would normally. I know that Andy is already sweating on this one! We will be presenting further tastings of this type as other brands come forth to put their bottles in the firing line, so watch this space.
