I just remembered a gift that I got for Christmas (whisky related). Not a bottle, but I did get a set of 8 Teroforma Whisky Stones. They are a soapstone, made in Vermont. The idea is to chill your whisky without diluting or changing the flavor.
I hadn't even heard of these before, does anyone have experience with something like this? I drink my whisky neat, but I suppose it could be interesting to see how chilling it, without diluting, could change things. Any thoughts?
