I lived the same experience ordering a bottle of Ardbeg 10y old worth £ 510.90, I have not received the goods and got evasive answers clearly, this morning after I had guaranteed delivery I complained to the Italian State Police, which will broadcast the acts to Scotland Yard.
It is time that those who run the site do the right responsibilities, it is useless to search for contacts also because any response only serves to take more time.

His partner is selling whisky as "supersally1972" on eBay but her feedback is good.
Pity the shop couldn't get feedback ratings.

very interesting article scottie
sorry about asking but are you 100% sure what you are saying is correct
i say this it is because i was accused of being somebody on ebay which i was not and the person was told by somebody else it wasnt me but didnt have the balls to apologies
so i am bit wary of things i am told
if you are correct good well done
i must admit i had noticed this seller come out of nowhere with loads of stock
maybe selling old stock ???

Well there you go. If you want to purchase from this cowboy and have the items actually arrive then purchase them from eBay. Interesting to read the negative feedback however.

I have got the same problem with http://www.parkerswhisky.co.uk/
I would like to get some help to communicate with Mr. Richard Parker. I have placed my whisky order in September, 2011 worth of £904.00 and 3 months after I tried to cancel my order, though I was told I'll get my money transfer back - still nor whisky nor money. It's been 6 months already. I've tried to contact them in all possible ways, but didn't get a response at all, not even talking about apologize or any kind of reaction.

I've seen many of you had a similar situation with Parker's Whisky, I'd like to ask for your help to get my money back.

Appreciate for your time!

Did you pay by credit card? If so you may be able to retrieve you money through them.

I ordered a bottle of whiskey costing £70 from the shop he eventually closed in Banff, this was around August 2010 (if I remember correctly). Following non-delivery, after around 4 months worth of daily phone calls, and threats, and telling his staff what I thought of him, asking them/her if he was a thief, and didn't she feel ashamed or even worried to be working for him (this was towards the end) he eventually refunded my £70 to my credit card - but this guy is a serious git!

P.S. He kept blaming the courier whenever we talked - eventually I asked for a dispatch number so that I could chase them up myself, and when he couldn't provide one, I began to suspect. Glad he's been tracked down to his new premises in Beverley - everyone should know his history, and should have absolutely nothing to do with him. I've passed his details on to a journalist friend of mine who's well into this sort of thing!

Unbelievable the shop is still online for Parkers, but it does give it away when there are no new recent releases. How's the website still going mind, I'm assuming he's still paying his host.

What goes round comes around I guess.

I have been surfing the internet and come across this:

"On today's BBC Money Box programme, in a follow-up item on wine investment featuring Ian Vanderhook and Vin Bordelais Ltd, the phoenix company of collapsed firm - Bordeaux UK Ltd, Robert Burns head of investigations at The Insolvency Service said he will welcome complaints from people concerned about wine investment companies. The Insolvency Service has the power to close dubious companies in the public interest. They guarantee to investigate complaints within seven days.

If the Insolvency Service believes there are grounds for action, they can petition the High Court to close the company in the public interest. If the petition is accepted, the company can be closed immediately with the petition heard in open court later giving the company an opportunity to fight the petition."

I would believe it is possible that he made a long-term commitment to the service provider. That would leave it up until his payment runs out.

Still in business in Beverley, Yorkshire. No indication on website that he has moved premises.
Found guilty and will appear at Peterhead Sheriff Court on 26th July for sentancing.

Parker has gone bust again in Beverley. The landlord got a court order for seizure of goods for non-payment of rent. This was executed on 26th July 2012.

Wonder who is supplying him, can't see him getting the good stuff from distillers as I don't expect he'll be doing enough business to sell the standard stock he will have to take.

I know that this is probably old news but I have family who live in Banff / Macduff and I spoke to them only this weekend when I was home for a couple of days. I asked about this business being a Glenugie collector and was told that he was "nae longer in business as he had been diddlin' folk". If that is the case then good riddance.

I hear mr Parker is not doing too well. Been convicted of child porn and placed on sex offenders list. He has been evicted from his home and believe he is living with family. Don't know what he has done with the money he has ripped off everyone 8)

Yes, that was the subject of his court case last July.
Is he still trading in Beverley, Yorkshire?
