Found an antique bottle of Crown Royal inside A book!!!

Postby kandispie » Mon Jul 20, 2009 2:11 am

While looking around an old house i had just purchased i came across some books. I opened the cover of a book called "When everything goes wrong" " a downeast drilling publication, volume 1". Inside the book was a sealed bottle of Crown Royal from 1967 with two shot glasses and a ribbon holding the bottle to the backing. Has anyone ever seen one of these? I showed it to a couple people and they told me it was some sort of promotion by Crown Royal but i cant find another one like it anywhere. Does anyone have an idea of how much it is worth? I am not a collector and i have no idea how much it is worth but if the price seems right i will part with it. Any info is great, Thank you. Canz

Crown Royal is a good whisky. You could either drink your book or offer it as a gift.

Crown Royal has no snob appeal, so it doesn't really increase in value.
