Whisky in Lisbon area

Hello,

I am leaving to Portugal for two weeks on Saturday. I will get familiar with the local drinks but would love to find a good whisky bar or store from Portugal. I will be staying near Sintra (a couple of minutes drive from Colares) and will fly through Lisbon airport.

Any recommendations in or near the Lisbon / Sintra area for:
a) pubs
b) stores
c) is the airport any good for scotch / bourbon?

There are a good few whisky shops dotted around the city. I don't remember the street names, but the pedestrian streets around the seafront have a few.

A little off the subject, but you can get hte elevator up to Bario Alto (think that's the name of it, although could have spelled it wrong), there is a kind of Port institute. A lovely place where you can taste lots of different ports in a very relaxing environment.

Also a little off the point, but they do these custard tarts there that are wonderful.

Thanks Aidan for your advice. I'll write this up for myself and try and find the places. I am definately going to sip some port there as well, so your comment is right on the spot.
