As I said last week or so Ganga, there is one more person that passed away too soon. I could use your topic 'memorials' but I wanted to create a new one especially for him. Now, I know I'm actually one day to early but tomorrow I'm off line all day and I wanted to make sure he wouldn't be forgotten. Tomorrow it's exactly 2 years ago that Michael Jackson (aka The Beer Hunter/The Whisky Chaser) passed away. I want to honour him because thanks to his notes here on this site and his own website I got really into single malts. His analysis were always very specific and detailed. I could ( and still can ) relate really well to a lot different flavours and scents he described during a tasting. He had a great influence on me and I'll always be greatfull for that. He also meant a lot for the Belgian beer brewers. Thanks to his books our beers got the appreciation they deserve. So, thanks Michael. I'll raise a glass tonight and tomorrow and think of you.
BTW I think it is shame that his website is taken off line.

I just poured me an Isle of Jura Superstition. It was Mr. Jackson scoring it an eight that made purchase one. I will drink it in his honour.
