Just opened a Glenlivet Nadurra so that i can enter the poll between it and the Abunadh.

I am enjoying drinking it very much.

Despite being CS i have not felt the need to add water.

I am thoroughly enjoying the crisp, dry mintiness of this malt which gives off a lovely warmth through the stronger alcohol.

A sublime minty maltiness! :D

Longrow C.V. - still one of my favourites peaty ones at German (and possibly "rest of the world") prices. Here in Sweden it's about the same price as Ardbeg Uigeadail. :insane:

Before the CV I opened the Glenlivet French Oak. I like it a lot. :thumbsup:

Silver Wedding Anniversary today so thought it good and proper to open the 25 year old Highland Park.

Absolutely delicious.

Very fruity on the nose - Sultanas? with a hint of Lemon? Somewhat sherry like but also a tinge of woody oakiness.

Quite a hard hit at first on the palate opening up to an explosion of fruit and oak with a thick strain of peat which dries very quickly but leaves a long deep finish where there is still a hint of lemons among the dry oak and peat.
