What's your latest bottle kill?

Postby Swedish Chef » Mon Jan 25, 2010 4:38 pm

We have the "What's your latest bottle opened?" thread, so I thought we'd have this one as well.

Latest bottle kill for me was Highland Park 18.

I'm pretty sure my last kill was Scapa 16 on the 6th. I've got two more bottles on the run right now. Should have them both in here by the end of next weekend.

I can't remember one CS, but there probably is and I'm sure it turns out I posted in it too.

My last emptied bottle was a Laphroaig QC. But that's already a while ago.

Last three kills:

Caol Ila 12yo
Highland Park 12yo
Glendronach 15yo

All great whiskies, that Glendronach in particular was, surprisingly, very good. Haven't seen any one else post anything on it, but it's a whisky I would recommend.

Bushmills 10. A pretty decent Irish whiskey. Probably won't buy another, though.

Bushmills Black Bush. Irish Whiskey doesn't do much for me, but this would probably be in the top three. I'll certainly buy another bottle someday, but not soon.

Dead, dead, dead. McClelland's Lowland. Really is a tasty whisky for 40% and young.
