Rittenhouse Rye 100. Not bad, but I prefer JB or Sazerac. Probably won't buy another.

G&M Lochside for Binny's. Cryptic is the best description I can find for this one. Or maybe it's the Forrest Gump dram (Life is like a box a chocolates; you never know what you gonna get).

Lagavulin 16 - Another bottle deep in the cupboard somewhere. :D

The second of three decanters in Tantalus No 1 has now been despatched never to be refilled with the good stuff!

Just looking at the list of all the newly termintated bottles. Think I might have to climb up on the table and scream "Kill! Kill! Kill!" S'tan is on the way and we'll terminate three or four tonight.

Suntory Pure Malt "ZEN"

Not a particularly complex whisky to drink neat but made an excellent mixer.

Glenfarclas 21

Overall fairly underwhelming for the price I have to pay Downunder.
AUD$150

Only really rescued by a nice palate. For me the nose is only a couple of steps up from noseing water. Not going to be a repeat purchase.

In truth a bottle of Nikka From The Barrel(for example) slays this and that only costs me AUD25 bucks.

Knob Creek 9. Won't be buying another bottle. Spirity and way too banana for my taste. I can appreciate why some others might like it, though.

Hi all,

I just finished my first ever bottle of REDBREAST. Love it!
This past "Mother's Day" I bought five bottles of Spirits at the State N.H.
Liquor Store, two of which were REDBREAST.

Regards,

Ardbeg Corryvreckan. Hats off, once again, to Ardbeg for this one. Thankfully, I bought another one the other day.

My second bottle of McCarthy's. I enjoyed the first one more. So much for 3 year old American Islay-style...
