I've been deemed an evil b@st@rd. I finished the Dewar's 12 (not mine) and the G&M Balblair 10 is not far behind (not mine). Therefore we'll have to appease the gods by opening some new bottles.

Yes, I had a bottle of Batch 001 a couple of months ago. I thought the nose was fantastic. It really raises expectations that one is in for a treat. I did not find the taste as nearly as wonderfully balanced as the nose. I preferred the 55.7%, though B001 was improving the longer it was open. Still, I don't think I will buy another one. Now I'm waiting to try Batch 002 when it finally comes to town.

You didn't like it hen? What was it like?

It wasn't terrible, just not my style. It reminded me a lot of Glenrothes or Dalmore. Folks who enjoy those might find a lot of value here. It still had the distillery character, but a lot woodier and fruitier (prunes, raisins) than the 10y and lacking the whisp of smoke.
