Sheep Dip. A bit too much Dalmore for my taste, but clearly a competent dram. Won't be buying another.

Finished the Glenfiddich 15 YO (200ml) that came with my 12YO purchase.
Debating whether to take the Jameson 12 or the Glenfiddich 12 YO to a family gathering over the weekend. Hmmmm

BTW - my first single malt - those Fiddichs :-)
Have found that a blend as compared to a SMS is (feels) less strong. with the Fiddichs i've found it strong on my tongue. How does one get so many different aromas when the alcohol is so strong. Surely regularly doing this is burning up sh!t in your nasal cavities ???

No
and the longer you drink the stuff the less apparent the alcohol will be.

JW Double Black. Decent enough, but maybe a bit sweet. Might buy another some day over the regular Black Label, but I'm not in any hurry.

Dalmore 12 from 2009. Pretty good whisky although I may like the earlier stuff a little bit better.

1/10 - Bunnahabhain 12 46.3% - my favorite daily drinker and I already have another ready to take its place

1/10 - Ardbeg ANB - my favorite expression of Ardbeg so far, its a shame Argbeg has gone away from its more aged offerings... (only 2 left in the reserves)

1/13 - Laphroaig CS Red Stripe '08 - a classic, though through oxidization, it mellowed quite a bit since opening. now i can finally try the new CS!
