Glenmorangie 18. Too much stewed fruit for my taste. Silky smooth and juicy, though. Won't be buying another.

Silky smooth is an apt description of the 18 although I get more malty than fruity for the Glenmo. Tomatin 12 is toast.

Mcclelland's Islay is toast. Split a 1.75 with a friend. The liter portion is toast. (and likely the other 750 as well since that was about 9 mos ago)

It is very intersting to switch to bourbon from the malts. In some ways the bourbon gets smoothed out but that rye comes through as an abrasive note.

Tomintoul Peaty Tang. A nice twist on peated whisky. I like it, but it's more vegetal than most, and too mild. It needs some higher ABV. Probably won't buy another.
