Which whisky is way to quaffable?

I've been nipping...and nipping...and nipping at this Laphroaig 10. Then I started to think about those whiskies that are just way too drinkable. That is, you open it and the next thing you know it is time to replace the bottle. So which whiskies do you find yourself doing this with?

Bulleit is brutally drinkable. Not the best bourbon by any stretch, but the bottle is much smaller on the inside than on the outside.

Nice Locke! I find the Fiddich 15 one of those whiskies that just evaporates.

For me it surely is the Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban; very yummy and easily drinkable.

Lucky for me I can get easy access to 1 liter bottles instead of 0.70 liter so that helps.

In my case that would be the Laphroaig QC and the Caol Ila CS. I have to restrain myself or I'd finish the bottle within a few weeks.

Yeh forgot about that one. If I could get it at my local(have to order it onlne) it would fit nicely between the Tali 10 and Nikka From The Barrel. Would have a lot of flavours covered by those 3.

The easy drinkers for me would have to be Smokehead NAS, and Tomatin 25. These go down so easy i wont purchase them anymore.

For me right now the new edition of the Macallan 12yo... Just flows and flows... half bottle for a starter.. Need to get some more of the 1.75L versions.

Going to add Ichiro's Ginkgo Blended Malt. A blend of Hanyu, Karuizawa and 2 other Japanese Distilleries that no one seems to have figured out yet(Seems Ichiro Akuto knows how to keep a secret).

Like a smokey version of Balblair 97 but at 46%. Just delicious!

open bottles of these tend to last less that 2 weeks when open.

12 Year Old Tullamore Dew is the one I have to hide from myself.
I also have a bottle of Grand Traverse Distillery's "Old George", I'll post something on it, after I get around to opening it.

I recently opened a Glenfarclas 1989 single cask 'for De Wit - Overijse Belgium' which is bloody quaffable. Even at 58.7 %!

I was just thinking about the Binny's bottling of Lochnagar 11. It's liquid candy. Took a near full bottle to a party and there was about a finger left at the end.

I would like to second that. I take flack from certain people for saying a staple of mine is Bushmills black bush, but I find it dangerously drinkable and the fact that most of it is aged in sherry makes it possibly one of the most affordable whiskey's that show off the effects of sherry casks ( at least that I know of).

A year and a half ago, while at a trade show in Las Vegas, I somehow found myself with a bottle of GF15 (ok - I bought it earlier and brought it with me to a vendor's party in a house that they had rented).

Needless to say, after about two hours, half the bottle was gone! At that point, I "discovered" a full bottle of Laphroaig 10CS. The GF15 was given away and somewhere between midnight and 5 am, over half the bottle of L10CS ended up leaving the bottle and inside me! It was a very rough night, and an even worse last day of "trade show" work...

And, I was going to take it easy that night!

Oh - and I'll add Coal Isla Distiller's Edition to this list as well: put back a serious part of a 1L duty free bottle in an airport when our German flight crew decided to go on strike, delaying our flight by about 16 hours!
