Whisky World, Copenhagen

I'm off to visit some friends in Copenhagen this weekend, and thought I'd see if there are any duty free\reduced duty bargains I can look up.

I've found out that there is a dedicated whisky outlet at Copenhagen airport, Whisky World, but not found out anything about it online. I'm going to price up a lot of the tipples I've been recommended in my other post, and if there are any bargains to be had there, I'll snap them up. Just wondered if anyone has any experience of this duty free shop and if the prices\selection is any good?

Nothing is cheap in Denmark!

In Copenhagen itself is a few specialist shops that might have bottlings not available elsewhere

Qualityworld and Juul's come to mind, and I consider both to be very fair prised on their whiskies on the danish market, but I am sure they won't impress anyone from UK

I am in CPH airport right now

from the overview boards I can't find any whiskyshop

There's a couple or 4 of duty free shops here, but I can't be arsed to walk around and check their whisky

I'm on my way to Scotland !

I saw a litre of Laphroaig 10yo for 400dkroner

Thats around 45£

Sounds like I'm better off here in the UK pricewise it seems! I must admint I've heard mention of this shop, but couldn't find anything concrete.

Sounds like you've got the right idea heading to Scotland; I trust you have a large, empty suitcase with you for stocking up Have fun!

You're right, empty suitcase with bubble wrap packed

There used to be a whiskyshop here, so thats probably why you heard about it
