That was not a good combo and the boys left me hardly any so I'll have a sandwich with the rest of the whisky

My recommendation is don't have anything that is sweeter than the Livet. All I'm getting are the oaky notes.

The 75 South has been very nutty but doesn't work with peanut butter. It doesn't get bitter but it loses character.

Well the Tomatin is interesting with the peanut butter. It's like chocolate covered oak.

That helps the Arran. I think I'm going to try the Pulteney next with the chocolate/caramel.

Spaghetti with meat sauce topped with parmesian and crushed red peppers. Balvenie DW with this. The red peppers bring a sourness and sweetness out from the Balvenie. Balvenie makes the red peppers go "woof".

Tyring the George Dickel with the spaghetti. The charcoal filtration really comes forward on this. Leaves a little of a low fire from the red peppers.

Whatever.

Early Times with pork shoulder. The Montreal steak seasoning makes the whisky go woof. But otherwise a good choice.

It was ok. Made the BMH a littel bit greener.

Now the McClelland's Lowland is very nice with the mallows.

Sig Clynelish with the mallows. Turns the peatiness into more of a charcoal. Clyne is better without this.

Glen Garioch 8, 1987 and the deathly mallows. Really makes this one perfumey.

I will note that the chocolate is much sweeterafter each of the last two whiskies.
