New Order

Hello,

I have been saving my pennies since last November. I am unemployed but I know what I like and I havent bought any other alcohol since then.
I am looking at placing an order tomorrow online for some whiskey - i can get 11 bottles - all around 30-40 quid mark.

This is what I have so far

Talisker 10
Laphroaig CS
Abelour A'bunadh
Lagavulin 16
Ardbeg 10
Caol Ila CS

I was looking at getting 5 more - maybe with 2 being a bourbon and a Japanese.

Any suggestions?

Would like to broaden my taste buds a bit more but in saying that - my brother usually buys Lagavulin 16 all the time - he picked up a bottle of another whisky that cost him double the amount with promises of 'vanilla, caramel, ect' and he was extremely disappointed.

Because I have been saving my money for so long, I dont want to try something and be let down.
As a peat monster (fairy new to scotch) someone suggested Abelour A'bunadh to me last year and I fell in love - Id love to find another gem like this one that I dont know of.

You need a HP 12 in there, Auchentoshan Three Wood, Balvenie- not sure which one. Ransoms Ben Nevis- I like. Look at independents as well may get better ages and better prices. Perhaps look at getting a Big Peat something different.

Cheap but good bourbon, perhaps Buffalo Trace or Eagle Rare 10. For Japanese it should be Hakushu 12. How about Glenlivet 16 Nadurra CS, Longrow CV or Bladnoch 20 CS. Connemara Cask Strength for St Paddy's day.
