Well the first 4 where from samples. Really like the BB 40 and Compass Box FH.
Still the best of the lot for me on the night was the Wakatsuru.

Glenglassaugh "The Chosen Few", their first cask of the new range, this one chosen by Ronnie Routledge.

Superb dram, lots of sweet tropical fruits and the most beautifully clean Oloroso.

My first taste of WhistlePig Rye. Generally favorable, but turns out my nose wasn't in full attendance so a proper evaluation will have to wait.

1972 Rare Malts Selection Mortlach 22 Year Old with two 'splashes' of water... A noteworthy version of this very fine Highlander that amply rewards one's full attention.

Waiting for my 2011 Whisky Bible to get to me before I visit the good store to buy

Had a ½ and ½ of Glendronach 15 Year Old Revival and Laphroaig Quarter Cask last night that was a pretty nice melding of vanilla ex-Bourbon oak, fruity ex-Sherry oak and, of course, that inimitable Islay smokiness. Certainly took any chill out of the air.

Last night at the Bow Bar (Edinburgh), Octomore 3rd Edition, Aberlour 21yo Cadenheads (Bourbon cask) and Mortloch 20yo Signatory Cask Strength Edition (black can) Re-fill Sherry. The Morty was particularly tasty!

Highland Park Earl Haakon 18 YO, quite similar to OB HP 18 (43%) = very tasty and highly drinkable at cask strenght (54,9%)
