I tried this one time out of boredom and curiosity. I made my own alcohol and aged as whiskey, it worked like wonders
(although I know it's illegal and all lol) The period of prohibition lead to laws restricting home distilling, but I see a lot of online shops like

http://www.brewhaus.com/ selling pot distillers and other supplies.
This topic is also openly talked in different websites. I hope America soon consider this legal like brewing beer and wine. I could imagine seeing more happy and drunk people around
