Okay folks, short of chasing 14 miniatures of Macnabs I may have to shelve my ideal of the complete line up for a vertical Lochside tasting and perhaps use DYC instead as the Spanish element in Lochside story is an interesting chapter. However if anyone out there can help in my search for a full bottle of Sandy Macnab's blend I'd be very grateful.
So the eventual line up for the tasting will be:-
Sandy Macnab's blend (ideally) or DYC or even Glen Mavis (from Inverhouse - again another branch on the family tree)
either
Cadenheads Lochside single malt 23yo 1981 - 04/2004 sherry hogshead 55.1% 204 bottles
or
Cadenheads Lochside single malt 23yo 1981 - 02/2005 port hogshead 56.7% 246 bottles
official Lochside malt 10yo bottled 1989/90 75cl bottle
Scott's Selection Lochside single blend 1964 - 2006 47.7%
Cadenheads Lochside single grain 31yo 05/1962 - 02/1994 56.7%
