"Longrow 14YO x 2"

One to open immediately, dt?

Certainly amongst the most unique tastes in malt Scotch I've come across... All of which is to say, "I like it!"

Yes TTD, one to open as soon as it arrives(picture from retailers site). As mentioned in a previous post, tried this last saturday night and knew it was for me. Went on the 'hunt' and managed to find it for $88 a bottle, $50 a bottle less than other retailers here. Maybe not cheap by US standards but by Australian and Canadian standards a real bargain. :smoke:

Thank to DRAKOSKL for recommending my most recent purchase of.

1 X 1 Litre Bottle of Ardbeg 10 Years Old purchased at duty free.

Purchased due to my love of the peat, however I believe it isn't as peat, smokey, medicinal, salty as the laphroaig, but still enjoyable.

Lagavulin is next.

So Costco discounted the Glenlivet 12....

Unfortunately, I then stopped at a liquor store because traffic home was terrible. They had the Glenlivet 12 gift pack on sale. Included the 15 and 18 miniatures. It wandered home with a very cheap Speyburn 10. :iwbrnt:

So did you buy 1 case, or 2 cases of Glenlivet 12? I am confused if it was half a case or a whole case at each retailer?

Well G I'll let you know when it arrives. My experience is that Chichibu whisky matures extremely fast, a conbination of climate and meticulous cask selection amongst other things. So fast in fact that Akuto-sans biggest issue will be managing this stuff when it gets to 10 years plus.

I would be very interested to hear the results of that!

My mate has the Ui and 10, and I am hoping SWMBO will give me a Galileo for my birthday in the a few weeks, so we can do a 3-way Ardbeg side-by-side as well!
