So there is a New Brewery in Marin Co. - and it just happens to be the Most local of Local Breweries to me... (Walking distance)

It opened this weekend...

Tonight was the wife's Xmas party. I had three. First up was the newer Oban 18. This was heavier, maltier than the original LE version. Second was the best of the evening. G&M Glenlivet 21 with the colorful label. Lots of fruit on the nose and palate. Lastly was the G&M Speymalt Macallan 1990-12. This one was spicey with mushrooms. Very good but not great.

Had a few 'standards' from 2012 batches

Yamazaki 12 - best I've had
Nikka WFTB - Good but not as good as previous I've had
Nikka Pure Malt Black - As good or better than the last
Nikka Pure Malt White - Good but not as good as previous I've had

Mojito's as I'm perfecting my recipe for Christmas Day Lunch/Dinner at our place. Will be about 90F here so a nice refreshing option. :iwbrnt:
