The Big Island

On holiday/vacation in Hawaii. Unfortunately, this is a place that you really need to bring in your own malts but I didn't have another reason to check baggage. Sigh. As described by a friend of mine, "I'm in malt wasteland."

There is a Costco and they do stock whisky but I'd have to check baggage or pound my way through a bottle of Glenlivet, Glendfiddich, Lagavulin or Talisker. (not that I couldn't accomplish that in a week)

It's off to see Volcanos National Park today. Enjoy yourselves everyone.

I did pick up some Early Times for the one night I was stuck at home with a sick child. It was reasonably priced compared with the Mainland. I am now back with my normal supplies...all is well.
