That's just wrong!

Actually, it's wrong in more ways than you might think....

The "Striding gent" is walking from right to left.....and yet the logo was changed a long, long time ago so that the gent was walking from left to right, so as to be seen to be "going forward".

(Now how's that for some trivia!!

Very interesting! I'm quite sure that, in all the old adverts I've seen on pub walls, he's going from right to left. Maybe he was Jewish.

Like Admiral wrote, Jonnie is going in the wrong direction and jonnie is scottish so it is "Whisky" and not "Whiskey"...

Hi there,

a poor fake from somewhere in Asia? The Middle East? No, wait - Italy! Mondowhisky strikes again. Just the Dutch interpretation of JW?

Surely no original, people there couldn´t get that so wrong after a crate of JW each!

Forum "veterans" would credit you with this trivia long ago when someone mentioned he had a bottle of J W Red with the gent walking the other way.

Methinks he had a fake bottle. You credited him with having a really old one.
