Apparently the site is currently UNDER OFFER, so there is still a chance of putting in a higher bid!

I'm just curious, the closing date was before the Allied takeover by Pernod.
Paul, is that the situation as it stands today?

I have just driven down to Imperial and all I can say with any certainty is that as I thought the for sale signs are gone. To the best of my knowledge Chivas still own the site but looking round a great deal of money will be needed if Imperial is ti produce again.

Let's hope this is someone/somecompany who breaths new life into the site as a distillery instead of other types of development...

I dont' think it's likely that the distillery will remain...
"Moray Council has zoned the site for redevelopment which is ideally suited for a mix of new build upmarket residential units and others being converted from the existing stone buildings."

But, who knows...?
